What are you going to bring to the party?   I’m going to bring some toys.
Are you going to eat or play with the toys first?
2. 能听懂、会说、会读
1)词汇: clown, appear, balloon
2)句子Just then, a clown appears.Here are some balloons for you.
3. 了解参加聚会要做的一些准备工作以及应注意的一些社交礼仪。
Focus of the lesson and predicted area of difficulty  教学重点和难点:
1. 句型:be going to的一般疑问句和特殊疑问句
2. 词汇:clown, appear, balloon等词汇的正确读音
 
 
Teaching procedures 教学过程:
Pre-reading
1. Listen and guess: What festival is it ?
a. It’s in January or February. People usually visit their relatives and have a big dinner. Together.
b. It’s on the first of May.
c. It’s on the first of October.
d. It’s in August or September, People usually watch the moon and eat moon cakes.
e. It’s in May or June, people usually have dragon boat races and eat rice dumplings.
f. It’s on the 1st of June.     Children’s Day.
2. T: What festival or holiday do you like ?
What do Children usually do on Children’s Day?
S: Children usually play games/ have parties.
T: Right.
 
While-reading
T: Children usually have parties. So does some boys and girls in our English book. They are going to have a party, too. Let’s watch and find out:
Q: Where are they going to have the party?
Who is going to take part in the party ?
Who is the clown?
2. 1)Read by themselves and find out:
