教学目标:

知识目标:1. 掌握重点词汇thirsty,bottle,drink等和句型“I can…”。

2. 能听懂,认读故事“A thirsty bird”,引导学生通过阅读抓住关键信息,明白故事的涵义。

语言技能:1. 能声情并茂地表演故事“A thirsty bird”;

2. 能综合运用本节课所学的知识,解决生活中遇到的实际问题,实现新课标的最高理念。

情感态度:1. 培养学生遇到困难仔细观察,认真思考的品质以及朋友间互相帮助的友谊;

2. 在语境中培养学生的文化意识。

教学重难点:掌握重点词汇,理解整篇故事,能综合运用本节课所学的知识,解决生活中遇到的实际问题。

教学方法:情景教学法,任务教学法,小组合作学习法等。

教学用具:PPT,图片等

教学过程:

Pre-reading

1. Warming-up:sing a song.

2. Guess some riddles about animals and introduce the crow.

T: It’s grey. Its mouth is big. Its wings are big. It can fly. What is it?

S: It’s a …

3. Stick the picture of a crow.

T: Look! It’s a crow. It’s not happy. Why? Let’s find out.

While-reading

1. Watch the video and answer the following questions.

(1) What season is it?

(2) How does the bird feel?

(3) Can he drink the water in the bottle?

(4) Is the crow clever? Why?

2. Listen again and repeat, explain the key words and sentences.

3. Match the pictures and the sentences.

Post-reading

1. Introduce another friend, Doraemon. He has a Magic Bag. They want to travel around the world. Let’s see what happen during their trip.

2. Look at the picture, where do they go? What do they say? Let’s read the dialogue together.

E: Look! I can see a beautiful beach! I am___________.

D: I am very___________, too! Let’s go!

E: I can see many coconuts.

D: I have a good idea! I can use the __________ to open the coconuts.

E: I can use a straw(吸管),too. Can you give me a straw now?

Introduce the new word: straw.

4. Look! Eddy and Doraemon come to Shenzhen, a big city. And you take them to a Juice Bar, how do you drink the juice?
